Voldemort: Origins of Heir is a Sci Fi fan film in which it is based on the Harry Potter series of J.K Rowling. It talks about Tom Malvoro Riddle along with other descendants of heir of the 4 houses in which it was believe that these 4 people created Hogwarts. These 4 houses has its own uniqueness base on the personalities of young wizards or witches which is done by the sorting hat. Gryffindor, witches or wizards who has a brave heart, optimistic, and quick-thinker base on Harry’s personalities, as what J.K. Rowling describe him in the Harry Potter series/films.

Hupplepuff, contains wizards or witches that are loyal and steadfast, there are a kind of people who are contented to life. Ravenclaw, blah blah and Slytherin, its descendant is Tom Marvoro Riddle, a half muggle, half wizard whose mother was Salazar Slytherin’s descendant which makes him right full heir of Slytherin.

It starts about a woman, who somehow get through a warehouse barely, but was immediately caught because she was outnumbered by wizards who protect that warehouse. She introduce herself as Grisha, heir of Gryffindor, the one who started the flashbacks convincing the general to give the thing she wants to accomplish, Tom Riddle’s Diary.

First I was so excited to know the real story of Voldemort and I was surprise of the additional scenes whom the director and producers added to make this story more tensing as ever. Although, I have doubts about this movie when I first look at its trailer. For me the trailer was not “click” to me, a potter head and a fan who reads and watches the whole series of Harry Potter, for me it was kind a repeated to what J.K. Rowling writes in the story in both films and books. What I don’t know is that the 4 rightful heirs was there, all together happy, until Tom get suddenly outraged for his past.

So the story revolves on Tom, while Grisha was flash-backing all those memories they’ve been together, as a rightful heirs of the founders of Hogwarts. Their life was so peaceful, all of them sworn to make the world a better place, except for Tom. Tom was weird and doesn’t really a “socially person” to his other fellow wizards. There was a time when he was so angry about his past, and his eyes was so threatening as it should because of a simple way back to his past.

So they also considered the one who J.K. Rowling wrote, after they graduated Tom decided to work at the Borgin and Burkes despite of what he had finish in Hogwarts. And the unexpected murder of blah blah and the suicide of his elf after the murder, but in this movie it was detailed describe based on how it narrates at the book. Then that's the reason why Geisha wants Tom Riddle's Diary after all, to solve the mysterious murderer of blah blah and to save Tom from getting to the dark side.

So the general was settled to give Geisha the diary and after it, the unexpected question pops out in his mind, how did Geisha knows that they have the diary? And the true identity of Geisha was revealed, he was Tom Riddle itself transfiguring himself to be someone else and resists the powerful veritaserum in order to stay his identity hidden or unknown.

I rated this movie 8/10, not bad for being a fan film, although I expected so much about the plot of this film. I expected that this movie will show us how really Tom gotten to become the greatest wizard of all time, in the fact that he was just in his 20s or 30s. And I also wanted to know how Voldemort get rid his face features especially his nose as it has been describe in the Harry Potter Film. I also suggest that J.K. Rowling should approved this movie and edit some parts of it in order to understand it very well and so that the audiences will not leave so many rhetorical questions before or after they see the movie. But the directors and producers puts a lot of time and effort in order for this movie to be possible, I really appreciate all of it. I also like the sound and movie effects which they put so much in the film, it was really awesome and I remember how magical Harry Potter is. And also the actors/actresses who acts amazingly for the character they had given to in the movie. I was hoping for more Harry Potter movies, and I hope they will make J.K. Rowling and Warner Bros. edit and approved this movie.
