Secret Life of Pets an entertainment film in which its story revolves to all the pets in New York City. The beginning scene has a sound effect in which it portrays the town of New York City with the Narration of Max’s voice. Max is a brownish-white dog, which he tells how great Kaddie adopts her. He describes the way he is grateful that Maddie is his owner, and love to be in that way. Until one day, Kaddie found another dog, and named it Duke; a big dark brown dog to be his roommate and the worst of all to treat him to be his own “brother”.

Max has a friend named, Gidget a white-coated Pomeranian dog who’s character is more like a kind- hearted dog when for example you appreciate her but if not she is tough as a hard rock. What I like to this character is that Gidget may seem to be vulnerable because she is a girl, but when her friends need her, she will be there to save you.

This movie is quite interesting, after I watched the trailer it makes me wonder what pets does if their owners are gone. After all it may seem a little bit weird for us when they “makes those loud noises”, but this movie answers all of my questions regarding to animal behaviors. I know it’s not real but maybe, just maybe, they can have an adventure when someone like us, is not around.

So the focus of the story is all about Max and Duke, their unexpected caught up in the New York’s Animal Patrol (These are people who caught animals who roam around the street, staying them in a compound until someone will adopt them, that sort of thing). Without they’re collars they now seem to be a runaway

dogs, a salvage dogs that can bite anyone, but thanks to a little cute bunny named Snowball, who is the leader of somewhat group in order to take revenge to humans.

I think it’s called the “Brotherhood” in which a group of pets come together to take revenge on humans for they treat them awfully according to them. Leaving Max and Duke no choice, they joined this little group in order to save them from this “Animal Control”. What they did is truly genius and too risky if they all find out that they’re domestic pets and they love humans way more than ever.

Well Snowball find out, chase them and end up lost in street without food. That’s when Gidget and her fellow friends came along the way to rescue both of them. In such a funny way, who knew Gidget can fight all those animals no matter how big or how small they are. Max realizes that he love Gidget because of all she did for him.

I am totally satisfied in the end, turns out they are now have a happy ending. Max and Duke returned safely in their own house, Gidget and all of her friends too are safely back in their own houses, and Snowball, the leader of taking revenge on humans, was now a pet for his owner is a little girl who loves animals so much. Even though it may seem to be childish when it come on graphics and stuff but you can totally learn so much about it. I learned that those kind things you did for others will repay you unexpectedly.

So I rated this movie as 8/10 because it’s fun and entertaining at the same time but sometimes bored for the detailed adventure of Gidget before reaching Max and Duke’s destination. For me it’s 8/10 because the graphics is much childish and audiences with an age group 7 and below will not understand the real lesson of this movie. But no worries, audiences above in the said age group will understand and reflect the lessons in which the movie wants to portray.
