DISCLAIMER: All that I stated their is just my opinion and it also contains SPOILERS to the actual scenes of the movie. So BEWARE to those who don't want to be SPOIL in this movie, and to those who watched this movie, Be FREE to READ it.

Trolls a comedy, adventure film who talks about the peaceful life of trolls until, the King of Bergens sends enforcement to annihilate them. It talks about Poppy (daughter of the King of Trolls) celebrated the king’s victorious on the night of saving them all from the terror of Bergens.

I have so many doubts of this movie, one of it was that the plot of this movie is somewhat childish-like because of the graphics. But after I watched it, I was wrong even though the graphics is not that good based on my perception, but the lesson in this movie was related in real-life situations. No matter how many problems/challenges which makes your life gloomy and dull, there is always a light that will shine after it.

The beginning of this movie talks about the quite life of Troll village, where Poppy is now a grown-up Princess. Partying all night, until one of the Bergens saw all those explosions and glitter, which makes them exposed so much and most of them hide to save their lives because of it. Some of the trolls were captured and will serve as a present in the Trollstice (a one year event to celebrate the eating of trolls to make them happy, because trolls are always happy). Poppy, is on a quest to save all her fellow trolls before the Trollstice will begin.

There is one of Poppy’s song “I’m not giving up today”, a song that describes her full risky adventures, even though she find it difficult for her to handle those weird challenges along the way; still, she find a way to survive all that after Branch (a grumpy troll who doesn’t want to party because of her past experience about it) save her. The sound effects was accurate because it is suitable to every scenes that needs it to be. Especially when Branch and Poppy, are alone in the forest and Poppy sang “Hello Darkness, my old Friend” which brings back the oldies songs that makes it to remember and preserve that kind of music.

Anyway, Poppy and Branch arrive at the Bergen town and they manage to save everyone except Creek; with the help of their Bergen friend, Bridget. Bridget has a crush on Prince Gristle but hesitates to admit her feelings to him because of how she looks and what job she had, as a maid in the royal castle. With the help Poppy and her friends they manage to help Bridget to become beautiful and have a date with Prince Gristle. The way they manage to pull everything off was so amazing, never knew that kind of plan will work just for a day. Bridget was so happy, she decided not to let the trolls go; their friendship is now over and her dream to be with her love was ruined.

Poppy and her friends was captured again and ready to serve as a main dish in tonight’s Trollstice; but Bridget stand up for them and decided to free them. Poppy was not happy, leaving her friend in madness; they decided to help her and other Bergen to show the light. This light in which the Bergens never knew, that their happiness is inside in their hearts. They don’t have to eat trolls to be happy, because what happened to Bridget and Prince Gristle was true happiness even though they never eat trolls before.

Never knew the plot of this movie will end out happy, not knowing those hardships they’ve been through together. Rules has now changed, in fact that Bergen were not allowed to eat trolls and Trolls can now live with Bergens as their new companion in the village. Never knew that rules can change the life of both Trolls and Bergens; now Trolls can now share their parties from Bergens and they can all live together as a family.

I rated this movie 9/10 because the story plot is awesome but the graphics is somewhat childish-like. I suggest that the movie graphics should be improved so that people will not mistakenly not watch this kind of movie. I learn so much about this movie; all the sound effects is perfect to every scenes in the movie. The voice actors are also good, not to mention Justin Timberlake was the voice actor of Branch; it’s quite amusing that a famous song actor is being a part of this movie. Bandwagon effect, is also one way to advertise this movie and you will not hesitate NOT to watch this movie because of Justin Timberlake, which is a good and famous singer after all.
