Pitch Perfect 3 is a musical comedy film directed by Trish Sie, talks about the famous female a capella group who won the 2015 World A Capella Competition from the last movie, graduated from the Barden University and experience another adventure and be there to watch each other’s back.

As the film starts, the awesome chants and hymns of the intro of the “Universal Pictures” was really awesome, numerous female-singing voices can be heard with somewhat trumpet like sounds of it. As expected, the start of the film was a song performing a capella group, the famous Barden Bellas with a thrilling music mash-up of Toxic (original sung by Britney Spears) makes me Woahhh in this scene, kind of unusual because Fat Amy bursts out of nowhere and fired the fire extinguisher on those men, and the Bellas jump out of the water for no reason. Well most of the film nowadays, placed the end of the film in the beginning of the movie so that audiences will not hesitate to skip it, because they will not know how a certain character in the story ended up like that, unless they watched the whole movie and find it on themselves.

So after that scene happens, The Bellas reunite ones again in a Brooklyn Aquarium, which they were invited by the “New Bellas”, Emily is the new leader of it since the old Bellas graduated in college. They expected to sing together, and ended up in disappointment because they hate their life, they hated their jobs who always fail them, and they wanted to be the Bellas, performing altogether, dancing and singing they wanted it all back. Aubrey’s crazy idea cheered them up, got an invite in the USO to entertain military and their families and finally Dj Cahlid will be able to choose a group to open at the end of the tour.

The Bellas solely live from their past ways, did the riff-offs on the following groups who are also get an invite from the USO to perform, which are the Saddle Up, Evermoist, Young Sparrow and DJ Nutz who are also outstanding singers with their instruments; got caught up with the fact that they should use only their mouths to create music, well this time it’s different because this is not A CAPELLA competitions anymore.

This film differs from the 1st 2 because Fat Amy has an unknown past life, her relationship with his father went unstable but they’re getting a hang of it. Chloe has feelings for Chicago, the soldier who welcomed them in the USO. And Lily has a crush on one of the boys in the Young Sparrow and DJ Nutz group, weird as it may seems but they kind of have a deeper connection between them. Aubrey was hungry for the attention and the love of his father, who is a busy military soldier and Stacie has a new baby girl and was named after their group “Bella”.

The Bellas performances are getting better and better together, as they traveled all around the world to entertain military soldiers and hoping that DJ Cahlid will be able to pick them as a team but that does not happen as expected. The Bellas got kidnapped by an unknown person, Fat Amy as her disappointed to her dad, hoping they will fix their relationship this time was the reason all along. Many struggles along the way, an adventure they never expected, but they all learned from it, accepting that they will not be “Bellas” like before; accepting that they will travel on different paths now. They finally accepted all, especially Beca who move into the next level of her career with DJ Cahlid, and this will be the end series of the Pitch Perfect.

I rated this film 10/10, awesome story plot, I never knew that this film can progresses more and have different pieces of music to be sang by Bellas in a weird and thrilling way parallel to the movie. I really learn something about their relationship, no matter they will not see each other, going to their different paths, they moved on, accept it and happy to each other’s success. This may be the last series but it makes me wonder for more of it, I want to know or Fat Amy’s Mother is, or did Beca and the British man who work for DJ Cahlid ended up being a couple together. I want to focus some more past experiences of the Bellas before they were included in an A capella group. It was really great, I love the story plot ended and felt relief about it, they all got a happy ending and hoping for more Pitch Perfect movies or other versions of it next time.
