Pitch Perfect (2012): An exciting WAY to experience LIFE in College

Pitch Perfect is a musical comedy film directed by Jason Moore, talks about Beca (Anna Kendrick) as she began freshman at Barden University, unknowingly that she will be one of the “Barden Bellas” the a capella female-singing girls in order to win the ICCA (International Championship of Collegiate A capella), the dream of Aubrey since she join this group not so long ago.

Perhaps quite interesting work of art this film has given to its audiences, for it does no only concern singing and dancing of different groups of A capella but the romantic story plot of Beca and Jesse (Skylar Astin) makes it perfectly in sink. Jesse is also a new freshman who reluctantly join “The Trebles”, a male-singing a capella group in the Barden University concerns about their rivalry against the Bellas.

The Audition scene was exceptionally genius, especially people who definitely produces different sounds to impress both famous a capella groups in the Barden University and surprisingly mash-up together in a synchronize form that makes everybody contributed in every part of it. Unknowingly that extraordinary work of art can be delightfully combine with outburst emotions of people through music and dancing.

The rift-off scene was also outstanding, different a capella groups gathered together to show-off their amazing voices from the chosen genres of music. The way Beca showed her talent in singing, Jesse was impressed to her along with her fellow Bellas concerning to what she can do. Beca a female music-lover capable to mash-up any songs on her heart’s desires, makes her a good singer and a DJ in her part-time club values her real personalities and showed a model of being a “Bella”.

Aubrey’s character was the main conflict in the film, her obsession of winning to prove that her mistake from the last competition makes them a better a capella group from others was intriguing. Her incapability to control others through her unwise leadership leads to downfall of Bellas in the semi-finals competition.

Popping up training session of Bellas for the upcoming finals held in the Lincoln Theater at London, was everybody dream, a capellas all around the world join to achieve one goal, becoming the best a capella group in the history. Awesome musical harmony of Bellas combine with dancing and mash-up songs blown –out the history of Bellas, being an all-time singers of different genres of music.

Special persons as masters of commentary in every competition the Bellas and Treble makers made, John Michael Higgins and Elizabeth Banks were always there making every commentary in a comedic way to describe every a capella groups will perform. It makes the film not specifically consumed by boredom and makes it a great and enjoyable film because of the both of them.

I rated this film 9/10 not knowingly that this film turns out to be adequate and delightful, although a teaser from the end of the movie makes me crave for more and expected to become a series for this is freaking beautiful especially for music lovers just like me, who knows every music they mash-up with a very harmonize way. Thanks to the people behind this film who work really hard to make this movie incredibly amazing musical movie, and it was really worth to watch, 90% guaranteed you will be inspired singing and dancing because of it.
