Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkhaban is another Sci Fi film and another continuation of the 1st and 2nd film of Harry Potter Series, in which it talks about a boy named, Harry Potter who he didn't know was a celebrity in the wizarding world. He was the only wizard that survives the killing curse of Lord Voldemort. He was now 3rd year in Hogwarts along with his only friends, Hermione and Ron, who joined him in another adventerous life in the wizarding world. For this third year in Hogwarts, the first scene of this movie shows us that Harry was treated by his "Muggle" neighbors badly, resulting to his unwise decision to be "stranded" in the middle of the night. Luckily, the Knight bus save him from being out in the night alone and be able to reunite him with the Weasley Family and his friend, Hermione. The main plot of this film was the prisoner of Azkhaban, which is "Sirius Black", godfather of Harry. Sirius Black is a criminal who was the first one who escaped in the Azkhaban, full of dementors. So Harry and his friends on the way to Hogwarts, met one of the dementors, that was believed to be searching for the prisoner, came on the train and Harry was forced to revive his lost memory. The memory of his parents, the night when they sacrifice their lives to save Harry, the night when Lord Voldemort murdered them. Harry passed out, not knowing he fainted when a dementor will be able to take his soul, luckily a man casts a charm and somewhat drove away the dementor.

Some of the unique scenes compared to what the 1st and 2nd movie of this series was Hagrid, the gamekeeper of Hogwarts, was now a teacher in the "Care of Magical Creatures" which talks about "magical mysterious creatures" that never knew existed. Next, Professor Lupin, the man who save Harry from the dementor, was the new teacher of the "Defense against the Dark Arts". I like when Professor Lupin teaches his student with diligence and simplicity, especially when Harry and his classmates will be able to face the "Boggart" (a shape-shifter that usually lurks in dark spaces, no one knows its definite form but it can change its shape depending on what the person feared the most).

A simple charm called "Riddikulus", a boggart-vanishing spell that can be use in order to defeat this, although some of Harry's classmates tried it, they all ended up successfully with a laughter, But when Harry's turn, the boggart shape shift into a dementor, which a powerful incantation that shield's oneself from the "dementor's kiss". Harry learned it for just 2 tries and be able to produce the charm with the use of Professor Lupin's help to fight the boggart (who has been changed into a dementor). After the incident of Malfoy, that was hurt by "Buckbeak", a hippogriff which was the main highlight of the topic of Hagrid ended up in a more complicated problem. Because of the juri's decision, Buckbeak was subjected to death because of what happen.

Early Morning at exactly 7:30 came, Harry, Ron, and Hermione came to see Buckbeak one last time before its execution; the rat was somewhat bite Ron's finger in order to be free from his grip. This scene was so incredibly awesome in the fact that I never knew that Peter Petigrew was the Ron's rat named Scabbers. I never expected that Peter was the one who betrayed Harry's Parents, their friendship was over because he was the reason why Harry's parents were killed in the first place. Because he was one of the most "faithful" servant of Lord Voldemort that time, 12 years ago. And in that same year, Sirius Black was accused of murdering Peter Pettigrew, leaving only a toe nail as a trace. In the same year, Scabbers became the pet among the Weasley and passed this pet to Ron.

It all makes sense now after this scenes has been showed, but Sirius will be detained for the crime he didn't commit for the rest of his life unless they will do something risky. After Ron was brought in the Hospital Wing, Dumbledore (Headmaster of Hogwarts) talked to the three of them and said something weird about what happen. Because of Hermione's ability to critical think, she decipher that strange message and she was able to come up with a solution, which is Turning back in time. Hermione's Time Turner (a gift from Professor McGonigall) was the only means to solve this kind of situation, but messing up with time was a bit risky. Certain rules should be applied in order to be done successfully, Hermione and Harry (who knows what will happen) should not see themselves (the past Hermione and Ron) or else wizards or witches who meddle in time suffer great consequences. So it all makes sense now, the awesome editing skills makes this movie amazing as ever. First after Harry and his friends went to Hagrid, someone throw at the jar full of sand and someone throw at Harry. It was clear that Hermione (Her future self) was the one who throw at it to save their life for detention. The moment when Harry will going to die because of Professor Lupin transformation as a werewolf, Hermione (her futures self again) save Harry (his past self) from getting eaten from it. Lastly, Harry (his past self) see his Dad (although his Dad died, he believed that he was the one who conjure the Patronus Charm to save his life before). Now, Harry realized that he saw himself, save himself from a dementor's kiss and conjure a powerful Patronus that drove away all the dementors.

I rated this movie 10/10 because the story plot was thrilling and full of mysteries, and the way the producers and directors who put all their effort editing this movie was so talented and magical at the same time. Even though this movie was 12 years ago after it was released, the awesome editors who made this film was so good in order that the audiences (who read the actual book) will remember that scene Hermione and Harry go back in time. As for me, I read all the Harry Potter series and some of the scenes which makes this film understandable, especially to those people who didn't read the actual book. Because when I first watch this film without reading the actual book, I find it confusing, leaving me with so many questions that always pops-up in my mind. I suggest that before watching the films made from Harry Potter series, you should be able to read first the book so that you will not leave it hanging with so many questions.

I recommend this to the people who experience betrayal in their friendships, that they will find this a hope that even though how much pain they've experienced, they will be able to forgive others because of it. Just like how Harry forgive Peter from betraying his parents, even though he is hurt in his perspective.
