DISCLAIMER: All that I stated their is just my opinion and it also contains SPOILERS to the actual scenes of the movie. So BEWARE to those who don't want to be SPOIL in this movie, and to those who watched this movie, Be FREE to READ it.

Harry Potter and the Chamber Secrets is another Sci Fi film and another continuation of the 1st film of Harry Potter Series, in which it talks about a boy named, Harry Potter who he didn't know was a celebrity in the wizarding world. He was the only wizard that survives the killing curse of Lord Voldemort. He was now 2nd year in Hogwarts along with his only friends, Hermione and Ron, who joined him in another adventurous life in the wizarding world. For this second year in Hogwarts, another crime has been omitted because someone open the Chamber of Secrets.

As for these recent events, the quidditch sports game was cancelled in line of all muggle borns (wizards or witches who are petrified because of the basilisk). In the same event, Harry Potter was discovered to be the "culprit" behind of this attack because of his capability to speak in "parseltongue", a kind of snake language that was believed to be mark of dark arts. Despite of his ability, students think that Harry Potter open the Chamber of Secrets because they believed that he was the great-great grandson of Salazar Slytherin; who in the fact that he also can speak ParselTongue.

His doubtfulness contradicts to what his rightful house should be, so he ask the sorting hat again if he was placed in the right house (to tell you the truth Harry Potter was supposed to be place in Slytherin House, despite of his perseverance which makes the sorting hat alters its decision, he was then place at Gryffindor House).

Some of the key points which makes this film unique from the last book is that, despite of Harry being able to speak ParselTongue his friends are always there to support him no matter what. And I also noticed that Ron, Hermione, and Harry improves their "detective skills" being able to solve again the mysterious student who open the Chamber. So the evidences found out was the clue in solving this mysterious sudden attack in muggle borns. The first evidence was Harry and Ron find out that Malfoy was not the heir of Slytherin using the Polyjuice Potion (a powerful potion that can transform someone's appearance they want based on the hairs they've collected). As you can see, this potion was secretly brewed by Hermione in the girl's bathroom to where Moaning Myrtle was there because no one wants to pee their because of her attitude breakdown. It was the perfect place to brew a potion and they successfully did it thanks to Hermione. Second evidence was Harry found out a mysterious book that was been thrown by someone else in Moaning Myrtle's ghostly head, I kind a found this amusing because of what Ron said that makes Moaning Myrtle angry to him.

But the book whom Harry found does not have any writings on it, until he found put how to communicate with it. I love this scene so much despite the fact that this movie was 16 years ago, the animation was so amazing and magical at the same time. So Tom accused Hagrid for keeping a spider, named Aragog but for some recent events of Harry and Ron went out to follow the spiders, in order to know if Hagrid is innocent or not. Well they did find out the truth, even though they will be get eaten by Aragog's neighbors but they make it out alive barely. The last evidence was found out by Hermione, she was petrified when she was looking for clues that might help to solve the case. It was in her hand's grip and Harry noticed that the monster in the chamber of secrets was a basilisk, a serpent of Slytherin with a yellow eye which makes you dead if you see it. Spiders fled after it attacked someone, and it was only controlled by an heir of Slytherin, such as Tom himself. And this monster lie in the Chamber was so powerful that it can only be controlled by a ParselTongue, such as Harry himself.

This was found out by Harry Potter when he discovered that the secret opening of the chamber was in the girl's bathroom, where Moaning Myrtle died 50 years ago and after Ginny Weasley was been captured, written in blood saying "Her skeleton will lie forever". This scene was so majestic, the way Harry fight the basilisk controlled by Tom aka Lord Voldemort, and the way the evidences were correct to what monster lies in the chamber, the one who open the chamber to unleash this powerful monster was freakingly awesome and cringe worthy. Even though Harry doesn't have enough experience to become a powerful wizard he just solve the mysterious crime, and just killed a basilisk just like that. I feel contented to the ending of the scene, Ginny was alive, Harry and Hermione didn't die, and Hagrid got out of Azkhaban and was innocent to the false accusations in which the Ministry of Magic had given to him.

I rated this movie 9/10, it was so freakingly amazing and cringe worthy, and also the sound effects was so appropriate in the film. It makes me wonder for more of this series to continue and to progress, and even though it was 16 years ago the animation was appropriate to what it has been discussed in the book. All the actors and actresses combine with different sound effects appropriate in every scene was so good, the harmony and rhythm and everything was good. Although I wanted to make this movie develop its tactics when it comes on animating stuff and I really valued all the directors and producers who exerts their efforts to make this movie possible.
