Descendants 2 2017: "True Love can save you from anything"

This film is the sequel plot of Descendants 2015, to those who want to see my review about the previous movie, check it out first because its story is somewhat connected to each other. DISCLAIMER: All that I stated their is just my opinion and it also contains SPOILERS to the actual scenes of the movie. So BEWARE to those who don't want to be SPOIL in this movie, and to those who watched this movie, Be FREE to READ it.

Descendants 2 was premiered last July, 21 2017, two years after descendants was premiered at Disney Channel and Disney XD. The previous movie talks about a prince who wants to give a second chance to the Vk's (Villain Kids) to live and study at Auradon Prep.

The end scene of the previous movie was really interesting, from the fact that Mal somehow controls Ben again, showing her inherited powers from her mother, in order to love her, which makes her the real daughter of Maleficent because they have the same "controllable green eyes" that is hard to resist.

But on the start of this Descendants 2 Film, the beginning of this movie was connected to what we see in the end scene of the previous movie. Singing "Ways to be Wicked" by the main characters of this movie: Mal, Jay, Carlos, and Evie who turns Auradon into "Evilicious Madness" base on the film.

In comparison to the previous movie, Mal and Ben is now "lovebirds" who really love each other until one faithful day; Ben found out that Mal is using her"Spell Book" with a simple click, everything she wants to do will be there without putting much work. From this situation, Ben's hatred arouse, and they can't stand to be together, so Mal decided to go back to her own home, at the Isle of The Lost.

As Mal returns home, she makes herself became evil again and forget what she had experience in Auradon. Her love, the friendship she built, memories of her friends, she tries to forget it all and isolating herself, from that horrible experience between her and Ben's relationship. Her friends found out and they eventually went after her, convincing her to go back to Auradon with Ben. Finally she was convinced, a tragic happened, Ben was kidnapped by Uma, daughter of Ursula, claiming to be the queen of the whole town; and its up to them to save him from dying.

This film has proven that if you love someone, you have to sacrifice all you have for that special someone. Mal wants to isolate herself that makes her felt miserable to what had happened between her and Ben, even though she was mad, she was willing to sacrifice herself, saving Ben and fight Uma in the end.

Its now Mal vs. Uma, two villain teenagers fighting for the sake of their own personal interests. Mal, who has still feelings for Ben, and Uma, who wanted Ben to be her husband, and rule over the world; turned into an enormous piercing dragon that I've never expected to happen in this film. This battle was thrilling and exciting, because who wouldn't know that their mothers are considered the most powerful villain in all the land. Maleficent, an evil fairy who cursed Sleeping Beauty for a simple missed-out invitation in her first birthday, was hell-out powerful. Ursula, a sea witch, who promise Ariel from "The Little Mermaid" film to transforms herself to become human, makes a deal that makes Ariel a prisoner for eternity, was also powerful in a clever way.

Based on animated films, the fact that these scenes reminds my childhood days watching Disney princesses movies and remembering the villain in every movie, that can be seen here in the descendants film. Although, they make a little adjustments from the graphics, yet they look exactly like their own mothers, who uses that kind of power. The love of Mal for Ben, makes triggered her to fight Uma for the sake of him and also to the people in Auradon. Because of love, no matter how insane their actions might get, they will risk all of it and do whatever it takes to protect and save their love ones.

I can truly imagine that this movie has given me so much realization about what love is all about. Its not about to be a "show off" to other people that someone loves you, but it shows how much you cared from each other no matter how hard challenges that you might face, making your love stronger like a diamond. No matter how many trials you might face, the most important is, you are there to watch each others back.

I rated it 10/10 because of the cool and awesome graphics and the plot twists that makes this movie worth to watch. It makes me wonder more, and support for further continuation of this movie. Audiences will seriously learn from this movie, no matter how young or old the people who will watch this film. I am looking forward for the continuation of this film and how will the producers will be able to make another clever story plot, and I hope Disney will work out of it sooner.
