Bad Genius is a Thailand movie that talks about a genius student who uses productive means in a very sophisticated way, thus allowing every character to come up with an alternative means in order to get what they want.

Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying, a Thai model and an actress who is popular to her role as "Lynn" in this movie. She is natural in the fact that she can uplift the audience's impact the way she acted upon in every scenes of the movie. Along with some characters, Lynn is an intelligent students who help other student to pass in every subject within a semester. Along with "Bank", who played by Chanon Santinatornkul, he is the rival of Lynn in terms of academic excellence. Likewise, he is also impecunious and strives harder to be able to help his mother in their weekly expenses.

From the trailer I've watched 7 months before the movie release I was really thrilled and excited of what will this movie become. A student whose grades are straight-A and also an honor student in her middle school able to cheat, was really astonishing and also amazing at the same time. From the fact that I am also a student who have the same setting at my middle school which like me can't resist to watch how this movie will develop. I just can't wait to see what this movie will be able to show the audience about the clever aspects in order to pass a certain subject.

This movie is seriously brilliant because the main characters in the movie play a specific role that are suitable to the actors and actresses who play in this movie. One of the characters I valued is the actress who played as "Lynn", she can deliver the right kind of emotion in every scenes in the movie that touches the heart of the audience.

"Both Lynn and Bank at Bad Genius"

Most of the scenes in this movie are based on real-life events that happens inside the school. People like me who doesn't get those weird looking math formulas and equations, needed someone who will teach me in the simplest and easiest way in order to solve that kind of problem in math. Just like Grace, I met someone who spend her time, just to teach me everything she knows about math. There are also people like Lynn and Bank who are truly genius and need to work hard in order to sustain their living. Most of people can also relate to Lynn and Bank based on their family relationships they are in. Lynn's Dad is a teacher who earns money that is not suitable for their expenses. And Bank's Mom who work hard to their small business as laundry owners, as well as laundry-washer at the same time.

From this scenarios we can conclude that Lynn and Bank tries to help their fellow classmates (but also in exchange to money) is both a positive and negative effect to them as well. Risking their capability to study in abroad to earn money, was the conflict in this movie. They risk so much of it and through that experience they have learned a lot. For Bank, even though he didn’t study abroad, the only thing he is happy is to run their business successfully. While Lynn, even though she needed money for the sake of her dad, she all risk it and tell the truth to everyone of what she did in the STIC examination.

What I have learned from this movie is that whenever you want something so badly, you should first think it all out and decide what will be the outcome if you do something rush. Everything in this world is a matter of an illusion that makes people to do what is right or wrong. Even though Lynn wanted the money so bad, the important thing is she decided to do what is right, to follow her rational thinking and follow her heart even though she was aware to the consequences she will face.

I hereby rate this movie 9/10 for its outstanding features that makes the audience realize that cheating can lead to nothing. And for other awesome cheating exams scenes that makes me thrill all the time
