Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a Sci fi film directed by Mark Webb, in which it talks about a boy name Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) in which he got a genetically characteristics of a spider, making him invulnerable, saving people’s lives. Gwen (Emma Stone), her girlfriend was also here, a valedictorian in their batch and got a job on Oscorp (a corporation created by Norman Osborn that deals with scientific experiments especially on genetic cross-breeding), a sweet capable girl who always help Peter in every way she can.

From the last film, we can see that Peter’s past was unknowingly revealed, leaving it hanging, and thanks God they have part 2 of it. The movie started about what really truly happen to Peter’s dad and mom, why did they left him in his Aunt and Uncle’s because they have been in a “runaway” for something BIG deal. At first I was stars struck and finally contented because it answered all of my questions about this film. Something important is at stake, and as the film progresses, piece by piece was explained and Peter finally found out what really happen to his Dad and Mom.

The deeper connection of Gwen and Peter was tested, for Peter was haunted to what Gwen’s father said before he died, that Gwen will be safe at any cause, and never put her in danger. Because of it, Gwen decided to break out with him, the most hurtful thing that I really felt while watching this film. Letting someone go, in order to make them safe, even though it was really painful.
New characters was introduced in this movie, Harry (Dane Dehaan) a rightful heir of the Oscorp, aka Green goblin and friend of Peter was hunger of surviving in his inherited disease from his father the “Retroviral hyperplasia” a rare incurable disease. Max Dillon (Jamie Foxx) was also a new character, aka Electro which acquired electric powers, he was the guy who is obsessed of Spider-man after he was been saved from it. His immature acts leads him to misunderstand what Spider-Man was doing to help him.

As the film continue, the awesome fight scenes between electro and Spider-man was really exciting and thrilling at the same time. Because the power was zapped by electro, technical problems was undergone by those people who guide the plane into its safety after it landed. And also without electricity, people in the hospital who needs special medication will be in danger. I find it thrilling because, it’s up to Spider-Man to bring back the electricity and to save the people in New York from disastrous events. After that the fight between Green Goblin and Spider-Man was undergone, leaving Gwen in danger, and another way to make this film thrilling as ever. In the fact that Gwen were slowly falling, and was relief after Spider-Man shot his web to grab her into safety was really awesome, but because of the great impact of Gwen’s head, she died.
People behind this film put so much effort, to make these scenes realistic with some cool effects. I really want this film to have a part 3 but I think they intentionally let Gwen be killed, or maybe some other reasons. But for the actors who played as Spider-Man, I think this is the best story, best actor and actresses, and best story plot of all. I rated this film 10/10, a great film and many learnings was given to the audiences especially to never give up even though problems are always right there, making our life miserable. The way they shot the cameras was really awesome, and can be concluded that they’re professional about it. It was really worth to watch, especially if you are a fan of Marvels.
